Application Procedures
- Complete the application form (SFAA 192) which is
available from District Offices, OCEF and this website.

The completed application form together with photocopies
of HK Smart ID card and if applicable one-way permit should be submitted
in person or by post to :
Office of the Continuing Education Fund,
Room 916, 9/F,
Kwai Hing Government Offices,
166-174 Hing Fong Road, Kwai Chung, N.T.
Applicants may also place their applications in the
drop-in box on 12/F., Cheung Sha Wan Government
Offices.
- Applications are processed on a first-come-first-served
basis, subject to the availability of funds. In the event
that CEF no longer has funds available, the application will
not be approved regardless of whether the applicant fulfils
the eligibility requirements for claiming reimbursement from
the CEF. Applicants
should submit their applications as soon as they have been
enrolled in, and have paid for on equal monthly
instalments basis, the first course for which
reimbursement of fees is to be made and, in any event, before
the commencement of that course. Late applications will
not be accepted.
- The date of receipt of the application by OCEF will be
taken as the date of application .

| Note |
| (a) |
You need not
submit copies of the course fee receipts at the application
stage. Please retain them to support your claim for reimbursement
in future. |
| (b) |
If you enroll in more than one course, you are only required to submit your application in respect of the first commencing course. Please fill in the details of the first commencing course in the Application Form. |
| (c) |
For a course comprising
several modules, you should fill in the CEF course title
and not the module names, in the Application Form. |
| (d) |
If you have obtained approval in-principle, you need not submit a second application before the commencement of other reimbursable course(s). |

Notification of Application Results
For applications containing complete information, application
results will be issued within twelve working days
from the date of receipt of applications. If the information
provided is incomplete or there are discrepancies in the information
provided, applicants will be requested to give an explanation
or provide supplementary information, in which case the processing
time will be longer.

Amendment Procedures
Applicants should check the personal data and course data
contained in the Application Approval Letter, Notification
of Payment etc. Should there be any discrepancies in information
such as the name of the course provider, course of study,
correspondence address or the bank account number, OCEF should
be notified in writing immediately.
If an applicant wishes to change the information on his/her
personal particulars, he/she should complete the Form "Notification
of Change of Personal Data " (SFAA196) and send
it back to OCEF.
