With effect from 1 September 2009, CEF claimants can make use of the same benchmark examination to support the claim for more than one language course. However, the examination date of the benchmark examination must fall after the course commencement date of the reimbursable course used for claiming CEF. Other conditions under the prevailing reimbursement requirements, including the requirement of passing a specified benchmark test at the specified or higher level and only one claim for reimbursement of the examination fee for each benchmark examination, etc remain unchanged.

The new arrangement will apply to all CEF claims received by this office on or after 1 September 2009 (based on the date this office receives the claim).
