Brief History and Aim
The Fund, which was established in 1964, aims at assisting, by means of interest-free loans, worthy and needy students to pursue studies

Eligibility Criteria
Full-time local students(note) who are in financial need and are studying at the above schools /
post-secondary / tertiary institutions may apply.

students undertaking University Grants Committee-funded courses, except
students of the Hong Kong Shue Yan University.) |

Method of Application
| Category I | : | Emergency Loan
Applicable to students of secondary schools and the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education.
Students should apply through their respective
schools/institutes/colleges. |
| Category II | : | Interest-free Loan
Applicable to full-time students of the other post-secondary / tertiary institutions
above. Students should apply through their own Student Affairs Offices. |
Dates of Commencement and Closing of Application
| Category I | : |
Throughout the year while fund is still available. |
| Category II | : |
Normally from September to November every year.
